delivering pizzas for a while introduced xe la to a quirky mob that slang drugs & weed from a coffeehouse next to the pizza joint xe la worked at. the station wagon soon became the psychedelic taxi cab for the neighborhood freaks and hooligans. being the luvmutha. naturally xe las station wagon became the MUTHASHIP. and boy did the crew get their zen on....that .level. ooooo boy. BRANDON & XE LA were puffin' back in them days aswell. BRANDON had a warehouse space above a place he worked where he began recording and beat writing. xe la would come thru and do some loose leaf idea trackin' just to help BRANDON work on his new found passion. the track floated around for years until xe la decided to put in back into the lab and add a bunch of samples including the LITTLE RASCALS / CHEECH & CHONG / JIMI HENDRIX & BLACK SABBATH all crewzen on the muthaship.
