this song was inspired by a gamer friend of xe la's that was commenting on a computer game as "chewing the gum long after the flavor was gone". it blew what mind xe la had left after partyin the day away with a few drinking buddies. when penning the song...xe la was watchin old BILL HICKS performances & interviews. if theres anything to know about BILL HICKS is as a comedian and in life, he to things to an extreme...and somehow would come out with the most profound and stable perspective on so much going on and still going on in the world even today. so xe la sampled one of bill's last interviews before a passed away. xe la really wishes bill was still around to do mushrooms with. that'd a been coooooool.
